Timmins MAT Tourism Fund

On August 26, 2023, the City of Timmins gave Stardust Festival 2023 a 60,000 grant as a tourism entity, under this requirement :

“The City is required to pay 50 per cent of the net MAT revenue to an eligible tourism entity to be used to promote tourism, including product development.”

Given that the Stardust Festival has not been paying it’s workers (as documented) as well as the fraud under which the Festival has been developed, this suggests that Stardust has defrauded the City of Timmins of this money plus this the Stardust Festival was not designed for tourism nor is considered a tourism entity.
